Cashmere Kitchen – Modern Open Plan with Island
Our customer was making an exciting move to Devon from further up country and was on the hunt for a kitchen for their new forever home. With a passion for cooking, they envisioned plenty of fridge and freezer space, along with top-of-the-line ovens for their culinary creations.
Storage was another priority; they wanted ample space to keep everything organized and tidy. They also envisioned showcasing some of their kitchenware in stylish glass cabinets. While they have a separate dining table, the idea of casual seating at the island for informal meals and drinks was also appealing.
In terms of style, they wanted a timeless, classic colour scheme with a modern twist—light and bright to create an inviting atmosphere. It was essential that the kitchen seamlessly blended with the colour palette of their dining and living areas, making the whole space feel interconnected and harmonious.
Throughout the process, we engaged in numerous discussions to perfect the design and flow of the space. The final layout showcases a seamless flow from the utility area to the sink and cleaning space, then onto refrigeration and ovens positioned near the island, finishing with the impressive tall glass display cabinets that were a must-have for them.
Our customers are absolutely thrilled with their ovens and warming drawer and relish the ample space provided by both the tall fridge and freezer. The venting hob also been brilliant and they’ve enjoyed using this in their stunning new kitchen.
