Accessible Kitchen – Midnight Blue and Walnut Modern Kitchen

Modern Kitchen manufactured by Leicht. Midnight blue doors are from the F45 range and and are made from Fenix laminate. Fenix is an ultra matt, soft touch and anti-fingerprint material. Doors under the sink are from the Bossa range in Walnut and have 2mm vertical embossed channels in the wood veneered front creating a beautiful linear effect.

This kitchen has been designed to accommodate a wheelchair user. The sink area has an integrated dishwasher but this has been set an an elevated level. The units underneath the worktop have been inset further back to ensure there is sufficient space under the worktop for a wheelchair.

Similarly under the hob on the island, there is additional space so that the hob is accessible and a smaller sink has been placed on the island for ease of use when draining water from pans while cooking etc.

There is a full height pantry unit at one end of the tall units which has the plinth removed for ease of use. Pull down baskets have also been added to the pantry units to reach store cupboard goods as well. The tall units also houses two single Neff slide and hide ovens and two warming drawers.

Lots of planning and discussions with the customer helped us to design the kitchen to meet their requirements. The result is a modern, sleek and sophisticated kitchen that is enjoyable and easy to use.
